Bishwo Shahitto Kendro (BSK) is a creative art, literature & education based organization that runs and organizes a range of programs throughout the year

BSK aims to build stronger relationship between the diverse ethnic communities of London. It is actively striving to encourage local community, in particular, children and young people to get involved in creative writing, music, storytelling, toy making and dance believing that will enhance their level of understanding and socio cultural skills.

BSKL works for developing and nurturing the intellectual and cultural potential of individuals in a conducive environment by undertaking various projects. We regularly run "Moulik", a reading and discussion sessions of classic books from the world literature, workshops for children and women on storytelling and toy making relating to Bangladeshi literature, poetry workshop for young people which involve translation and writing in English and Bangla. We provide audio-visual educational resources. We also organize and celebrate national and international events aiming at integration of the host and minority communities

BSKL incorporates non-Bangla speakers as well of different ethnic and cultural background and broadens the socio-cultural mosaic of its members through the exchange of art and culture. All our programs are designed to promote harmonious relationship among all communities through its activities regardless of social or ethnic origin.
