MOULIK/Bookclub: The main Activity of the organization is “Moulik” a book club – this monthly program gives an opportunity to read and discuss on some of the world’s greatest books. Participants would also get a chance to watch some of the world’s memorable films, listen to great music compositions. Currently BSK is on 14th session. As part of the program BSKL also try to promote young writers.



YOUNG MOULIK: BSKL is successfully running a project called “YOUNG Moulik”. This project is targeted for the Young British Bangladeshis. Through this program BSKL is teaching young Brit-Bangladeshis' to read and write Bangla. BSKL is also teaching Bengali culture through this program.



Creative Writing Workshop: Bi-monthly Creative Writing Workshop supports young writers of Brit-Bangladeshi origin as well as for the people from the host community. Poet Steven watts of the Multicultural Arts consortium, Shamim Azad of Apples & Snakes and Dr. Debjani Chatterjee who is known as one of the Britain’s best known Asian writer were the tutors.



Radio/TV Program: BSKL also tries to promote young aspirant writers by launching their book and introduce them to the community with BSK's forth-nightly Radio Show. Currently BSK is looking for funding opportunity for this successful regular radio show Jibon Jemon, which is heard on Saturday at 7pm on 15.03 AM band on Sound Radio. BSKL has also done some TV programs in local Bengali TV Channels.



Film Show: BSKL regularly arrange Film show



Community Empowerment: BSKL is actively striving to encourage local community in particular children and young people to get involved in creative writing, music, storytelling, toy making and dance believing that will enhance their level of understanding towards citizenship and socio-cultural skills.



Other Activity: BSKL also does cultural programs, Photo exhibition, poetry workshop, cultural festivals, Book Fair etc.
